Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Will you use US English or British English?
Scribe will edit your work using either US English or British English spelling and punctuation — whichever you prefer.
2. Which do you do: copy editing or proofreading?
First, let's briefly define these terms:
Copy editing involves achieving accuracy and consistency in vocabulary, grammar, spelling, punctuation, style and layout.
Proofreading involves final checking of an already copy edited document to ensure that it is ready to be published.
I provide both of these services. Put as delicately as possible, the majority of clients need to have their work copy edited. :-)

3. How do I send you my documents?
Feel free to send documents by e-mail. Microsoft Word format is ideal. If you can't use that for some reason, try RTF format.
Feel free to zip (i.e. compress) your documents if you wish to make them smaller prior to e-mailing them.
4. How will I know what changes you’ve made?
If you send your documents in Microsoft Word format, Scribe will use the Track Changes feature so that all the alterations will be highlighted.
Feel free to contact Scribe for further information or for a free quotation.
